Another Made in the USA Rifle Scope?
The Redfield Optics co. has been bought by the Only USA made optics company and has set up a USA factory to manufacture Redfield made in the USA Rifle Scopes.
The Redfield line is quite limited as of now, but will grow with time in near future of this company.
I owned a Redfield scope back in their day, and was an excellent scope, wish I still had it. Will buy another one when the economy ever gets back on track.

The old Redfield Scopes were indeed good scopes for their day.
It was a sad day when they went under here in the US.
The were THE competiton here in the US for Leupold. And many felt they were better scopes than the Leupolds at the time.
Fast forward. Their offering now seem to be entry level scopes. Especially judging from the cost and designs.
The statement in the original post above is incorrect. The link says that Redfield was bought by a leading American Scope company. Not the ONLY Ameriacan Scope Company.
There are several high end American Scope companies.
US Optics, NightForce and others. Many feel that either of these have Scope offerings Superiour to ANY Leupold offering.
