Another round ball question

A friend of mine is shooting .25 round balls through his Condor and seems to be getting good results. I noticed these H&N balls on a dealer’s site and notice that they are graphite coated. Do you guys think these would be OK to shoot through the Condor? Is there a bulk size shot in .20 that would work just as well…

i’m sure the would be fine, but for the price you could shoot a good pellet which would be more accurate.

I have a .25cal myself and also shoot the roundball (in the form of #3 buckshot) it gives good results albeit not outstanding (actually i beleive Photo tried it as a result of a post I did when first using it). The cincher is in a 5lb quantity, it gets the ‘cost per tin’ down to around 3 bucks per 200 shots vs. 8 for the kodiacs my gun likes best. When i go beyond 40-50 yds or need best accuracy i go back to the kodiacs. long and short of it, if you can’t find a bulk source of roundball, there is really no benefit to using it.

Happy shooting
