Any Matador Short Bullup owners out there?
I’m going to trade actions with a buddy. I have a standard version and he has the short version. Mine is primarily a hunting rifle but he wants a few more shots per fill.
Are there any differences to speak of besides shots per fill and overall length? Are the shorter rifles as quiet as the standard version?
Thanks,
Paul

I’m not sure what each of you are gaining. Why not trade for a week and see if you like the smaller rifle?
He’s not going to gain that many shots!
You will get a little lighter, shorter, louder Edgun.
I’m not certain you are doing yourself any favors.

PS: I’m not certain the stocks are interchangeable. The Short even comes with a smaller case!
Well spoken. But it begs the question, “Why the different sizes?”
I am also wondering about the stocks. It looks to me from photos that all the difference in length is on the front end.
Personally, I’d trade lighter and shorter for louder. I live in a semi-rural area, it’s not a big deal.
Good points.
