Yeah, there are a few things that make that chrono less than optimal… Location of the display plus the stuff mentioned above…

If your looking for compact easy to light system go for the Combro.

If your looking for a larger harder to light correctly setup go with the Chrony. 😆

If your looking for the best accuracy and computational wizardry go with the Oehler…

Let us know what that one is like if you get it! Good, bad or ugly…

the place i went to play paintball had one to check everyones guns, well they suck, they are not very accurate and i bet muzzle blast had something to do with that. just save up 70 bucks and get a regular crony.

It looks like it might be worth the $38 introductory price but obviously they don’t list all the features that a Chrony has. For instance, does it store more than one reading or do you have to write it down with each shot. My alpha chrony stores 32 shots. Another thing that would concern me is with a rifle you need to use a tripod and place the end of the barrel into the device. Then, is there a clear view to sight through the scope? There probably is but sighting through the device with a rifle would require more caution than sighting between the V wires of the chrony.

All said and done, if I didn’t have a chrony I would consider this new device at the introductory price, only.
