Anyone else have trouble with parallex……..
on a really sunny day or a really sunny day with snow on the ground? I was seeing parallex with about every other shot this morning and it caused many flyers. It really pisses me off when 4 shots go into 1/4inch or 3/8inch and the one shot opens it up to over an inch. I am using an A.R.D. right now to block the sunlight because it works better than the sunshade I had on it. My scope is a Leapers and has AO so I have tried adjusting it.
Do you guys have this problem?
Any opinions will be appreciated.

Glad to know that I’m not the only one having this problem. I got the parallex to go away and was able to shoot some consistant groups, but then the wind started. 👿 It comes from every angle possible and is very unpredictable so shooting kinda sucks past 20 yards…..not to mention the snow won’t stop falling. Groups at 40 yards are good for the conditions but not worth posting.(1-1.25 inches)

Yeah I tried a lower magnification….it helped but made precision shooting harder. It is only a 3-9x magnification.

My Leapers is picky about eye placement also which makes sense because CenterPoint is also made by Leapers.

I’ll take a look at them.
I just picked up a Burris 4.5-14x 32mm AO scope from Academy. So far so good. It has a narrow field of view and long eye relief. If you’re in the market for a new scope check it out.
Put my 4-16×40 AO IR Centerpoint on the condor to use the red/green IR feature. Didn’t stay on very long @ all. Sunny with snow in the shadows. Glare on the eye piece and dark/milky @ 16x. Could not see 22 holes @ 40 yards. Was better @ 10x, but still disappointed. This scope is quite picky about eye placement, gray shadows if not just rite.
The swfa ss and the falcon menace, have made this scope useless 😕

Some of the very same going on here too dude. That and the fact I hate the trigger in my Condor LOL… I have the 4″ scope shade on my Nikko Nighteater SF scope and its just not the quality glass I would like to have.
You might try this, back the power off alittle. It helps on mine, but I damn well want the power up when shooting paper… I just can’t do it in the afternoon out the back door of my shop. Sun and the sun’s glare off the floor kill me…

I had a Leapers 4×32 and the internals fell apart after a month on my SS!!!!!!!!! I was never happy with the image although it was accurate.
The Burris is stunningly good, $199 well spent.
