You already forgot about my TRS-1 review? It’s a good scope! I will say however that if I wanted to part with the money, I would have tried the MTC Viper for sure, and I’m betting it’s a better scope and reticle, but the Millet does fine for way less. Very clear optics at ALL magnifications.
I keep hearing good things about them. Not hearing much good about the millets. May-be they have solved their poor optic problems.

I’ve got one on my .22 Rapid.
It’s heavy.
But the optics are good and the reticle is excellent for the .22 pellet.Target at 50 yds?No problem,move up to the third aim mark and the target is hit.(12 fpe)
The illuminating reticle is a bit bright at most settings,I only ever have it on 1 at dusk.The lens covers are great as thet fold against the scope body and don’t get in the way.
Once the scope is zeroed the turrets can be reset to “0”.
Just be careful that the illum switch is not turned and forgotten,you will end up with a dead battery.

I wonder how the MTC Viper scopes compare to the Millet TRS-1 scopes?

Well I did try one at a Buddy’s store. I carried it out along with a Swarofski, Zeiss, Lupy, and Meopta. The Millett looked fine until I turned up the power. It got way more milky than any of the others. Then I tried it out at power while sighting at a target facing in the direction of the near setting sun. All of the scopes were super sharp, except the Millet which whited out. Making it useless in many hunting situations. It’s performance is about the same as a Bushy Banner at triple the price. Way more fun gadgets though! 😉
