Anyone have a 5G RWS pistol???
Need info on it. I might do a trade if I can
be sure the gun will perform well for hunting
and pest control.

I must confess, when I was a teen I owned an old
spring Rifle (don’t know the model) but had great
power. I would hunt rabbits and birds, then one day
I lubed it with WD-40 and the power dropped by half.
We learn from stupid mistakes.
Can be very accurate, but do require some technique to them. Mine is a bit underpowered at 520fps with 7.9 gr, but I do have a spare seal for it that I need to install. Person who had it before me had lent it out to some peckerhead who thought it needed some WD-40 on it… and promptly burnt the seal.

Fairly accurate, hard hitting for a pistol.

I had a stock one and then I got a brite idea to droop it. That screwed it up so I made another and it turned out perfect 😛

They are a good robust pistol. But they are a springer pistol. Springer pistols are hard to master to shoot accurately
From what I’ve heard they’re under 600 fps with mid weight pellets. No good for hunting anything but small bird IMO.

Amen to that. I did the same thing as a kid. Soaked that poor gun in WD-40 ….wondered why it stunk so bad when I shot it…haha
