Anyone have a Leupold 4.5?

I am looking to get a Leupold 4.5-16×50 possibly.. MARK4LR/ target turrets.. Leupold has a military program (did not know that!) I get a hell of a discount.

SO! I know their scopes are set for 75 yards for parallax.. will the image be clear and usable @ 20 yards on lower mag levels?

Remember this is a hunting scope, I have no idea about the military issue.
