Anyone Hear How The Bullpups Are Doing At The Extreme Bench?

I have been trying to read up and understand WTF goes on at the Not So Extreme Bench Rest. I think that I have figured the scoring out but, the official rules state that you have 30 minutes to shoot 25 shots. The results show a maximum of 750 points so; I assume that you have to shoot 3 targets for a total of 75 shots.
Do you shoot one 25 shot bulls eye target in the allotted 30 minute time frame and then shoot the next target later? Do you shoot all three targets in one sitting? If so; do you get 90 minutes to shoot all three targets? Is the official 25 shot target in one piece or two?
If I am not mistaken, you finished 4th in the open class but; you said that you had a score of 222 3X in the 75 meter open class. On the next page of the topic, you post some results that show you finishing 4th in the open class with a score of 722-21.
Just when I thought that I was starting to figure out WTF was going on; I got more confused! Gonna have to give you a call. Maybe you can straighten my dumb ass out!

Too bad that we didn’t get our 30 cal Matadors a couple of months ago! It would have been fun to shoot the Extreme and also to meet you. I would just check out the other Matador owners and ignore the rest! 😆
Man, You just gott’a love it! Tofasfou will back me up on the accuracy at long range, as witll Dyotat100 and RoachCreek. These things are amazing! And the crazy thing is, they are dirt cheap to shoot. I have 5 gal. buckets from home depot and lowes filled with rubber mulch and use them for backstops. I lie them on their sides and staple targets on the lids.
They stop the bullets just fine, and the bullets come out almost un-molested. Sooooo, I can simply dump the spent rounds back into the pot and re-cast. Now how sweet is that! No cost bullets! 😉 😀
And no more waiting for months for PA to get .25’s in stock when you are just about out. 👿

I’m telling you, I’m loving the .257. I think it’s a matter of a year or so before there are more choices along with ready to order ammo. The Haley still looks nice…I would consider that. But I think I might just wait and see what happens by next year this time. Somebody is going to take notice. But, I think the bigger gun builders won’t make a .257 model until there is ammo readily available for it.
Doc, the 257’s are currently out shooting the .30 cast bullet guns. The Cal. just works extreemly well in a powerful Airgun. Mine will print under an inch at 100 yards all day long. Sure, it will throw a flier every once in a while. but no where nearly as often as a pellet will.
Best group todate .090″ at 80 yards. Oddly, it is still right at 1″ at 200 yards.

All the pics I saw was a bobcat with the powerwheel. I think that was his .22 with a new stock???? Plus it had a moderator extension

Looked at the corsairs. Super small package for its power. But 5 shots per fill….that’s a bit low. I think at least 10 and the guppy can stay in the car. Looks like the .257s shoot better then the .308s.
I would think a different regulator/valve might be required for that kind of power. My Condor has a custom valve that greatly increases power but reduces the shot count.
No – other guns at this point…. Corsair, etc…

Really?!? If it’s a .30 cal cast has it been tried in an R3? I’m not a fan of the Condor so I’m looking for options. A Morana shooting a cast .30 bullet would just what I’m looking for next. I just want 100fpe and 200 yards accurate and I’m good.

25 Meter BR – This event was a bit out of the norm….Yes ALL 3 cards were shot in one sitting…. Back to Back so to speak….
We Shot 3 separate 25 shot cards. Each had a possible total of 250 points each. Total Possible Score of 750.
Each card/25 shots had a time limit of 20 minutes. A break of 5 minutes was given between each card to air up and the officials checked for cross fires and “Double Shots”…. (Not the drinking kind 😆 )
With Regards to the Class. The 25 Meter BR had :
Open Class – Max 35 FPE
Heavy Varmint – Max 20 FPE
Springer – Not sure the Max FPE – (I think 20 FPE)
NEXT EVENT – SPEED STEEL ….. A.K.A …. “Combat Silo”… 😯 …. I think the intent of the name it to prepare for Zombie Chickens/Pigs/Turkeys and Rams……
For this event “Almost any Goes”…. there were 16 targets. Standard .22 rimfire Steel Silhouette targets.
The Targets are set up – – – Chickens at 30 yards – Pigs 40 Yards – Turkeys 50 yards – Rams 60 Yards….. The Goal is Simple just “Knock them Over” ANY Front Rest is allowed… But “NO REAR REST” can be used… NO Pre-Loaded Mgazines… No Pellets Staging….
All in All Very Simple…. On the Start Command … Knock Down the Steel as fast as Possible…
Last …. The 75 Yard Event.. same thing… ALMOST Any Things Goes….(Diablo Pellets ONLY) …As a side Note there was some honest Safety Concerns about the “Cast Bullet Guns”…In my Opinion this should have been thought of MONTHS AGO….I did offer Cedric the use of ANY And ALL my Equipment if he was interested in joining us at the event.
The 75 Yard event consisted of “ONE TARGET” of 25 shots… Unlimited Sighters…. in 30 Minutes…Unlimited Air .. (Just no tethered Tanks)
This year again… There was almost NO WIND. I saw a post and some said something about 15 mph winds… Total Bull SH……!!
The winds Gusted between 3 to 5 mph switching from full value Left .. to Full Value Right. The winds during my relay were mostly a
1/4 Value right. My typical hold off was about 1 inch to 1 1/2 half….. as I said very little wind. There were a couple of tricky gusts.. one for certain
caught me and pushed a shot into the 7 ring… I had to others bad shots that i sent into the 7 ring…. Operator error on a new gun… those 3 shots
cost me between 3 to 9 points based on my average shot score…. O’well
IN PROTEST of not Having my .30 Caliber Edgun Matador I purchased one of the New HM1000x in .25 cal. … A very Excellent Gun!!! Just wish I had got it more then 2 days before the event…..
This was my 3rd year attending this event…. I will say the format is getting better and we had a people from all over the world. The shooters from Venezuela joined us at our local club the week before THE EX-BR in Tuscon. I got chance to Spend a lot of time with these folks. All I can Say is what a Fantastic Group of People… Lucky for Me their English was Very Good….. This is the First Time I can Honestly say I wish I could Speak Spanish….
