Anyone try one of Don G. shrouds that’s posted on the yellow
Has anyone tried one of Don G. shrouds thats posted on the yellow forum yet? I think he had them posted here too awhile back.

I am a little late in making this post and I best chime in and say that Don G. certainly quieted the .25 12 inch Condor. The gun is just more than I could have really asked for. Don took on the challenge of taming this beast and went above and beyond with 3 different designs for me to try out. Two out of three worked just great and I have both of them. One for just “Pretty” and one that I can camo up for the hunting trips. You don’t need to go any further than Don to get a great functional shroud. You can’t beat his prices either.
My shroud was not posted on the yellow but that is where I got the idea to give Don a call about the .25 Condor. 12 inch barrel.

Don delivers – Great to deal with, ALWAYS answers your E-mails, and he is in love with PCP guns. What more can you ask. I have one of his moderators and it is top quality. Only thing I ask is don’t crowd him, I have him working on some things for me 😀

A fantastic craftman.. Check out the photos on the Straight Shooters forum. Certainly will be giving the Top Dog a run for his money. A PM is on the way soon to get my order in on a few of his items. Where has this guy been hiding. WOW just look at those shrouds..primo stuff.
Don is a first rate cool guy. I have heard three of his shrouds two in 22 and one in a super fast 25. I have also hunted with one of his guns the squirrels do not hear it unless you hit the tree. Awesome work and great guy .I want one of his guns. A condor 25 is what I want Shrouded and tuned but I will have to keep saving.

Please read post on the shrpshotr28 baffle right here on the Talon SS thread section page, a few posts below this thread….sharpshotr28 is Don G.’s talon screen name btw. It rocks and well worth the money, I love mine and have zero remorse for the purchase!

I got the full tune from Don G. (sharpshotr28) as well. Haven’t gotten the gun back yet but communication was excellent. He also sent me one of his shrouds that extends frm the end of the barrel (as opposed to the frame extenstion type) for a trial period to see if I like it. Don’s a great guy to deal with. If you are thinking about getting a Tony shroud/tune, i’d recommend speaking to Don first as he does the same work but without the wait (and probably cheaper)

valve port and polish (can do o-ring mod, just didn’t get to it)
aluminum breech w/ hammer slap mod
75gr brass hammer
core type internal & extended “mini-shroud
Spoiled me honestly because I never spent any time w/a stock talon ss.
His “mini-shroud” though is amazing.
I used to think folks were kidding when they said a good shroud would make you think your gun was broken but it’s true.
You won’t be disappointed w/the performance or appearance.

This is what I posted on the yellow forum-
I have one as well as a lot of other work from Don.
The shroud is the best I have used, I have used quite a few of the well known shrouds and these are by far my favorite for looks and function.
What I like about it is it only adds about 3″ to the length whereas all of the others added 6″ or more to the total length of the gun.
It is VERY quiet and has a nice sounding “poof” when shooting, I love mine and am getting more for my other guns.
If you have any reservations about getting one of these…, GET IT!!!
It will be the best one you have.
