Q:

Anyone use a Drum spring?

I just installed my drum string and was wondering if anyone else uses one? I am trying to get a rough Idea of the PW settings in relation to the stock spring. I had the PW @11 w/stock spring and was wondering where to start with the drum spring. I would be testing myself ,but have been getting a lot of Chrony errors and a lot of pumping to get nowhere. Does a chrony light almost guarantee no more errors?

I have used the Chrony LED Light 2 times now. 1st time I didn’t get it to work at all? Maybe cuz blue sky and very bright 4PM sun shinning into the sensors. I could hardly see the red LED lights because of the bright sun. 2nd time, today, setup in shade with bright sun and only slight chemtrail haze(jet vapor trails that don’t disappear, just spread into a haze). It worked great with only one error for about 50 shots.

i made a cheap double light fixture to hang rite above my chrony and i still use the shades and i was having a LOT of erris until i was informed to BACK UP cause the chrony will pick up the air blast outta the muzzel…I did how ever find that if i shoot with the shrowd on my errs all but went away…as far as a heavy spring goes i tried it and didn’t like it…it puts too much pressure on the cocking knob/lever that is only screwed into plastic….dont know if this helps.. 😕
