Just wondering if it’s more trouble than it’s worth and I’m looking for a good level to mount on my rifle.

No problem determining vertical, no inner ear issues here 😎
Just make sure it is square with the rail if you make your own… 😉

Those are cool gadgets, but a Beeman bubble level works great for about 75% less $.

I figured it was just a gizmo and I’m trying to have a buddy send me the one I really like without getting him in a jam if you catch my drift and this is all hypothetically speaking of course.
