AR 15 Grip Adapter for Talon/ Condor.
Okay boys here is a prototype I have been working on. This adapter will attach in place of the AF grip and allow you to use popular AR 15 grips.
A little bit more refining is needed. It will use the standard AF trigger guard.
A big thanks to member JFK who sent me the AR15 GRIP and piece that fits inside.
John yours will be coming Gratis!

Will,
This is a mock up for measurements and not a final design. I want to see if I can make the AR15 Adapter to fit the stock guard as well as a custom one. So I am making 1 design that will be able to do double duty. Not everyone will want a custom trigger guard and will simply want an adapter.
The finished product will be much more refined. I am simply giving a little update.
Funny thing about the designing the Wokbutt is it took many years for someone (Me) to come up with a simple solution. There had be several attempts to solve the shoulder piece problem. Often the simple solution is that hardest one to come up with. It is easier to make something overly complicated. It is much harder to keep going back and taking away and solving a problem with as little as possible.
So keep watching and I will keep showing it evolution. My goal is to K.I.S.S and make it look like it belongs on the gun.

This is really turning into a real “Custom” set up for the guns. High on the scale. More so that the WOKBUTT and I really do think that you should market this as that very special “Custom” item and make me pay the price. I am a poor man but when I want a special custom item, I will pay for that item. Be honest about this and see if you aren’t putting a lot more effort into this project than you did the WOKBUTT. I look at this last picture I seem to observe that there is just something missing and I don’t know what that is for sure. I have been hesitant to say anything for the fear of the “rage” coming down on me. I have even been sitting at my desk doodling with drawing and I am not the one to come up with anything. Maybe the guard itself needs to look a little more beefed up. I don’t know.. This is only one man’s observation and I hope you don’t mind a little feedback. Like I have mentioned in the past; This Condor of mine wants some very nice feathers and I think that you are the one that is coming up with a great idea..
A little mock up to get a better idea what looks the best and will work. More refining still to come.

I am working on the design so it looks like it belongs on the Talon. I am currently making a run of 20 Wokbutts today so I did not get a chance to tinker with the AR 15 adapter.
Tonight I am going to go over a few designs and do some mock ups this week.
fair price vs. what most of would want to pay…. isn’t that an oxymoron ❓
nice item though. I’m interested in what you come up for price
I’d like it to put the Hogue grip on it model 15000

M8 i have that grip and let me tell ya, it’s comfy! but i have stuck something else on mine, will post pics in a week or two when it should be done 😀

Here’s my college business 101 for ya.
It all depends on what you are after. Appealing to the Custom Consumers, or the Mass Market.
If I was a custom guy id pay 65 before shipping or even alot more. Because it would be important to me.
Being a normal consumer (as I am) I wouldn’t pay more than 35 including shipping.
And if you met half way in between it wouldn’t help the normal consumer because normal consumers are very price sensitive. Unlike custom buyers who are very price insensitive.
Meeting half way on price would only hurt your total sales dollars. You would loose money from the custom guy that would have paid you a lot more. And you aren’t gaining more normal customer dollars. So go high or go low.
If you want to figure in “supply” then it changes things a bit. Then we are deviating from strictly a price point to a supply demand equilibrium which would gauge what your price should be. Too many on hand, lower price. Too many orders not enough time, raise price until it is balanced.
Maybe my 101 class will earn me a discount.. wink wink.
PS: Great adapter idea.
I decided to work on lowering the grip just a bit, so there is not such an extreme angle between the rear of the grip and the frame.
Hmmm time to put the thinking cap on.
Cranking out shoulder pieces today. 😛
It is coming along. But it has to been done right. Everything has to go together easily and when tighten down needs to end up where you want it.
When I get it done it will be easy to put on and will not move.
Now I have 20 wokbutts to start on and so I will brainstorm a little more on this on Sunday.
AS I tell my kids sometimes WOK…”Just do it” lol
If you look at my earlier post, I said I would pay $80 for a complete package. $50 seems about right for the adapter alone. Now get goin’ WOK!
Then pay extra for a more refined look. The adapter for the grips is well worth the $50.00 for WOK’s work. Charge another $35.00 for the full setup.. Heck, I know what kind of money that I have paid out to Rich in Mich, Mac1, Rick Lake, Eric Sanders ETC…. a custom piece is hard to come by.
I think that it looks unfinished with the stock trigger guard.
I won’t be shy. Someone earlier threw out a price of $50.00. I would go along with that for sure. Well worth the money. Also provide a service providing information on how to install the modification. I’m sure you would anyway, but I would need to know.
