Assembly / Disassembly Instructions
I know they’re here somewhere but the search feature isn’t exactly the best on this forum…anyone have the video/instructions for assembly/disassembly of a talon/condor saved somewhere?
I need to get the safety reinstalled and I can’t seem to remember for the life of me where it connects.

This is a stock 22 cal Condor we’re talking about…no heavy hammer, no stronger spring…stock. I’d like to have the safety in it. I don’t use it much and when it does get used, it’s usually my 15yr old daughter who’s using it. I want the safety in.
Don’t worry guys, I’ll figure it out on my own…eventually.
Misc;
Just throw that damned saftey away. Treat it like a single shot shot gun, or a single action pistol.. Cock it when you want to shoot, or if cocked and you change your mind, push the hammer (Breach) forward with you thumb, and while holding it in the cocked position, pull the trigger and ease the breach back down to the top hat. This will un-cock the gun, and is the “ONLY”only really safe position of the AF Guns.
Now quite whinning an throw that damed un-saftey away! 😉 😆

Just leave it out. I also remove mine, and have always taught my kids the number one rule, the gun is ALWAYS loaded. So far they have followed the rules, and always remember that one first.

K…I got the 257 back together without the safety…however, I had opened up my .22 to see how the safety was in there and now I can’t get that safety arm back in…Ahhh.
That is why AF redesigned the trigger setup.
It is a bad design. People would get there brand new guns and they would fire when the safety is released. This a brand new gun out of the box.
Now when you start adding stiffer hammer springs it just makes it more likely to fail.
When you release the safety the hammer jumps towards the tophat a little and with the stiffer spring it just wants to keep going.
I won’t use one on my guns. Especially using 13 lb hammer springs.
How can that be? “remove the safety and the firearm will be safer”?
The gun is safer without the safety. Especially with heavier hammer springs.
rualert- I lied! It didn’t help. I hook the safety arm between the safety slide and the spring but it’s still floppy and doesn’t work. 🙁
Yup..you gave me those instructions a couple of weeks ago. I disassembled it back then and have been waiting for the barrel to show up. I now have the barrel and am waiting on rj-porter slugs to arrive any day. Just wanted to get her all back together. Did it last night. I have all of the safety parts laying around from another gun and I wanted to get them installed as I have children around.
I made a wood dowel when I built that gun to push the barrel out and push it back in.
It has to come out from the tank side. Remove the collar and all the bushing screws. Find a piece of wood that fits through the front bushing and pull the trigger then it should push out.

Yea, afterall they call it a safety ❗
I fought the removal issue for the sake of not setting a bad example for the kids that drop in on us.
The hole through the kitchen ceiling was easily disguised with majic mending tape but the livingroom window and drape gleaned when the sun shined in. 😎
That was an expensive lesson but could have been a whole lot worse.
I too removed the safety for safeties sake to say the least 👿
