Q:

At what bar is off the reg at 890fps???

Just wondering if you set your reg .22 standard to shoot at 900fps (max), at what pressure does it go off the regulator? I am getting about 95 shot from 200b until it goes off the reg at 85b. Either my reg is VERY efficient or my pressure guage is 5/10 bar off.

My Hill Pump MK3 show 220b and my gun show about 207ish bar, Once cool down it’s right on 200b. I don not have any other pressure guage to compare to.

Isn’t 85bar too low ? 😯 I though for 900fps is needed at least 120bar. Interesting.

my reg had been adjust from 130b stock to presently 85b . Im trying to see if my wika guage is off or my reg in this gun i have is very efficient.

My question, what is the min pressure on a standard edgun need to push 18.1g at 890fps?

Ok so I am guessing that you have not touched your regulator from the factory setting. The .22 is usually set at 120 however I have seen .22s set from 110-130 bar depending on the gun. So what you are doing is shooting the gun when it is off the regulator. A lot of shooters focus on the shot count because that is the number that seems most important. Manufactures love to talk about shot count. The real number you should be focused on is efficiency. Airgun efficiency can be expressed in cc/joules bar-cc/FPE or FPE/cuin. To judge your gun’s setting we need to see a full string with the bar reading behind every few shots.

Dman-

No I do not have one of your tester. And pictures of ??

I think I got the question mix up. It should be, if you set your Edgun standard to shoot at 890fps, at what pressure does it start to drop below 890fps.

thanks,

xbangu… did you get the tester from me??

Post a pic.
