ATF looking at air guns
I think we are in the golden years of the air guns , The PCPs in general, Maybe all, I just had a fine supper with some fine gentlemen. Thats all I am saying. Nice guys.
The new air guns can take down big game, some states are opening up the air gun to hunting game animals, Deer, Turkey, That makes the air gun BB gun looked at under a different light..
Trust me the ATF has not turned a blind eye on a air gun that can shoot quarter size groups at 100 yards and can kill big game at that distance,,,
I am just saying , I do not mean to set the alarms off but just thirty years ago we struggled. (Air gun sport) with 800 FPS in 177 caliber .
I truly think we are in the golden age of the air gun sport, Enjoy while you can , As I think big brother may have a say so in our sport pretty soon.
If the NRA does not take us under there wing maybe we can have a NAG , National air gun fighting for our rights and hobby,

As long as no one does something really stupid to get the Feds looking at air guns, we’ll likely see a “don’t bother with it” approach. However, the probability of someone doing something stupid is great, given the history of Homo sapiens. 😕
Big game air guns are still not semi automatic, and don’t possess the same fpe of their powder-burning counterparts in caliber. So, if we’re lucky, laws will overlook the pcp world, since they’re less likely to create mass mayhem in the hands of a loony. ( Hoot: killing trespassing chickens is not mayhem; it’s land owner’s rights.) Anyway, our only strength is to be responsible shooters: aim at squirrels, kill them, and dispose of the remains in an ethical fashion. 😛

The Cowboy-Idiots in Oregon are ill advised to take over a federally owned Bureau of Land Management rural building, and then threaten the use of force if anyone tries to evict them.
The Feds are showing considerable restraint in getting openly involved in this. Currently, the local sheriff has cut off their electricity and the protesters are running out of food.
A few days of freezing their assess off, and starving, should drive them to quietly depart, while they still can. Most of the locals don’t want them there stirring up trouble. Plus, there is no way they can win in a stand-off situation like this. They are stupid people who gave little thought to the only outcome possible to their actions.
Barring that, if the simple bastards get shot…then they get shot! People that dumb need to be made an example of, if for no other reason than to prevent unnecessary in-breeding, and to remind their own kind this anarchist* approach never works out well.
