I, myself being a bit weird and all , use my left forearm/hand under the forestock but that Sock/Rice – Springroll sounds appealing-for survival. If i ever get lost in the Wilds i can eat both my rear stock steadying devices : My forearm for that all important dose of Protein and the Rice for them Carbs … :butkick:

Found the mount I used.

Ride,

I have the shortest model.

Gabe

I attached a short picatinny rail with screws. Accu-shot sell the rail. Check their web site. As I have it now, I have to unscrew the pod with a flathead driver. I want one of these:

So I don’t have to use a driver. It’s pricey though.

What does the quick tatch look like when mono is detached

Yours looks like the medium length ?? please advise if this is correct and the best choice for mounting as you did not the Edy’s

Ride,

Here is a pic with it extended. Check out the threaded rod for precise adjustments. Gross adjustments are made with the big button on the pod.

They have different models. Check em out here:

The main reason I like mine is because I can dial in the crosshairs using the monopod elevation feature. It can be adjusted by screwing the pod in or out. It has fine threads to get precise movements. Also, with a quick detach adapter I can easily remove it and attach a picatinny quick detach sling adapter.

I like those a lot but thus far have been too much of a wuss to drill holes in my stocks. I am about ready though, just wanted to think through what and how each of my guns would be used, before doing it. I think the .22 Std. and the .30 with get the bipods and maybe those Accu-shot butt pods too. How much adjustment range do they have ?? I will keep the .22 short lite for off hand shooting the starlings, and the .25 long for bench shooting off a rest.

I have one of these attached to the butt of by edgun. It works great to vertical dial in the cross hairs to the target.

I have always just used a smaller bag that I favor the most and finished a wood or plastic plate to go underneath to raise to a good medium height that works well.
