I thought it was the case but then I looked and it appears to still be protected by patent laws. The thing really is if you don’t sell it what exactly can they get out of you for money to recoups their “losses”? Technically you can’t but realistically these is no real recourse without profit taken.

Most of the time patents are too expensive and then you need some serious $$ to enforce it if it’s stolen and mass produced (check your pms). I’ve heard these is a ag company out there that is has a bunch of lawyer investors and they take what they please and then apply the beat down in court. Typically costing the the original owner more money than they really have to protect their idea…

I think it was more out of respect than anything else. The one part that isn’t shown is the receiver, he may have asked in order to get the internal layout for that specific part. I’ve heard it’s where all the magic happens.

Cant you build pretty much anything you want to if its for yourself?
