Auto-Numatic to acquire BKL mount brand, resume production.

Being that both companies are from Texas, hopefully they have that stereotypical “Texas Pride” and the manufacturing will stay there. If they are keeping the BKL name they had BETTER maintain the quality.
Yea the self-centering feature is awesome. I haven’t bore-sighted my rifle since putting the 4X32mm back on, just evenly tightened down the screws and sighted-in at 50 yards. At 15 and 25 yards the shots still fall on center.
I have yet to see beefier rings than my BKL’s.
The notice says “the patented competition grade dovetail scope mounting systems and accessories will continue to be Made in the US“…
Does that mean all of their products or just one line?
If they make the items similar to the tri-rail and the bipod expect shit… 😡
quality mounts, but now that AF takes over it will be outsourced to china, and prolly be like Af guns, 1″ mounts will vary from .995 to 1.010″ and same thing with 30mm mounts….hehe
design is nice though and the self centering feature i really like, if they can keep up the precision, they will have a winner on their hands

Just since BKL has been down, I’ve purchased 2 sets of 263, 2 sets of 257 (silver and a tall), a 253, a 260 and a 274.
I don’t even have that many guns so I’d say I’m covered for now.
