Awsome Just awesom AR15 adapter
This is a One of a Kind piece made by our very own member JFK. He and I have been discussing AR15 adapters for the Talon for quite awhile and he has been a big help to me.
He has come up with a custom design. It is not for sale and he is not mass producing it. If he did it would cost you only $500.
I am so proud of what he has done I have to show it off. He was kind enough to not want to rain on my parade with the current trigger guard and adapter I am working on.
That is much appreciated but this is too good to not show off.

The best thing IMO is the way it is mounted to the frame. The frame sits into a slot in the adapter, and 2 screws hold it to the frame.

It appears it may be held to the frame with only the grip screw? Cant tell by the pic if there is a second screw?

This practically eliminates frame flex imparted by sideways force on the grip. Just about any way you hold it, zero holds true.
My wood stock is mounted this way, and I cannot make my POI move by twisting the grip, hence my previous comments.

I actually like the bi-pod where it is. I originally put there because it fit and looked decent there and it just happened to suit my needs for shooting with the bi-pod so I left it there. I would have to say that its location would reduce frame flex compared to it being mounted on the barrel shroud.
Looks real good! Question though, how do you like the Bi-pod mounted that close to the trigger? Does that reduce flex compared to if it was mounted on the barrel shroud?

Now that’s the way it should be done! Frame-flex is gone that way. My wooden piece mounts the same way and Ill never go back.

Thanks RiffRaff and yes, there are two screws holding it to the frame. A third screw holds the grip onto the adaptor.
