Q:

Back shooting my Selph/Blod valve

I got a little time to try it out today on my 18″ .25 cal Talon SS. My chrony gave me some issues but the string looks promising. I think valve is set a .225 and p.w. is at 1, I have a 100 gram hammer and a heavier than factory hammer spring, tank filled to 3,000 psi., using JSB Kings

got pissed after a bunch more err’s so I stopped. I think I was too close to chrony cause after the SS I did my FX Whisper with no err’s

Looking good Lee!!!!

Look like great numbers to me.

Man I agree on those darn ERR’s… I had those giving me nothing but hell about a month ago and kept trying and adjusting things till I winged my alpha chrony… That sure hurt my feelings even more…

Clouds was my problem as they kept coming and going over enough so that it was messing with the chrony… I have been using my combro lately as its not as sensitive and there is nothing to adjust like you have with the chrony so far from the muzzle of the barrel LOL…

I have all but made the order for a new Beta chrony with the remote head and I am going to spring for the new LED light source when I make this order… You can shoot the chrony in any condition and anywhere with the LED light… Least that is what they told me while I was looking into all of this…

There is times when the ERR is not that big a deal, but there is also those times when you really need ever damn shot info while working on a gun… Which I have found myself in many times while working on a complete string, you have the pellets expense, time and I have limited air charge here as well when working with a fill pressure over 3200psi…

The ERR’s are a PITA in general, but there are really those times that it really gets under my skin and the last time I had one and winged my alpha chrony was the straw for me LOL… So I know exactly how you feel dude… Your string does look really good

Damn those ERR’s !!
Looks goods from what numbers you managed to get. What was the end psi?
I always have my th at about 3mm (0.118 inch) as anymore seems to waste alot of air and reduce consistancy
