Baffles between bushings!!

Baffles between the bushings would likely cause a decrease in performance. The reason is because the space inside the frame needs to flow air back from the muzzle with the highest volume possible. If you fill that open free space with baffles you will be reducing volume space inside the frame. The reason a silencer has baffles between the muzzle and end of the silencer is to trap the air and let it expand into the voids and to slow the speed of the air down and that is what reduces the noise. The way the ss works is to direct some air down into the frame and the air that does not get pushed back into the frame then gets run thru the baffles to be redirected and slowed. So by reducing the air that can be forced into the frame by having baffles in the frame reducing the volume you will force more air to follow the pellet and the more air that follows the pellet the more air that will be let out of the muzzle end of the rifle making more noise.
