Barrel cleaning?
How often and what method do you guys use for barrel cleaning? I probably have 2000 shots through my gun. Is it time? Thanks. Bill

After which you need to let the barrel re-lead again to see if it has improved over time.

I have bought this 085 Otis since i bought my first PCP benji Mrod… but i never used it ..i thought it will harm the O-rings
For my Crickets if the groups open up greater then 1/2″ ctc @ 50 yards I would give it a clean, if not I’d leave it alone !
When switching pellet lots or type it might help to clean also.
I clean with PatchWorm system and Ballistol too, is the best IMO.

When the gun is new or after about 7-10k pellets through the barrel I like to de-lead with Otis 085 Ultra Bore Solvent.

Can’t say how often, its random. But I use Patchworm and ballistol, great combination

I’ve been using it for years without any issues ……… the only O-ring close to the barrel is the one on the probe it’s not hard to change if it goes bad.
