Barska Scopes
Saw this scope and spotter combo and was wondering if anyone has used this brand, and would it be comparable to a Hawk tactical in that same price range ($320-350)?

I have had and still have two Barska’s, both airguns scopes, one a 3×12 AO Mildot and the other a 2×7 AO Mildot.
They have not leaked, they still work, they are slow to track and they were both under $60.00 each. They have not shaken loose, but also have only been on PCP’s. I still use them daily after a year and a half.
If your going to spend that much money get a 3200 Bushnell on sale.
I followed Sams advice, after a fashion 😛 , and upgraded to a 7×21 Mildot 3200, what a stellar piece of glass it is.
My Barskas do indeed work, but I would be uncomfortable paying over $100.00 for one.

Noooooo not at all. I,ve no experience with either. But do a search here on the TAG. You’ll see no bad comments about the Hawke’s here, but you’ll also see no good comments about the Barska.
My 2 ¢’s forget the sales gimmick and buy the Hawke and don’t look back!

This say’s it all, and it exactly mirrors my experience with Barska scopes.
The best advice I can give on scopes is to spend as much as you can afford and buy quality. Cheap optics and scope mounts have caused me more problems than any other.
