Q:

BC of JSB Kings

I have it on pretty good authority (couple of good guys on UK airgun sites) that the BC of the JSB Kings is 0.0370 😉

JHONSADINE,

What the power level of your AZ rapid? I too have a rapid25 and i’ve made the switch from Kodiaks to JSB’s with GREAT SUCCESS! Definitely wont be going back to the Kodiaks….lol.

Mine is deadly accurate with JSB’s and is making 49.8 FPE or shall i say is pushing them at 940 FPS. I love the fact of pushing a little lighter pellet that is just as accurate or maybe even more accurate at the same FPE levels. Increases shot count for sure and probably creates less muzzle jump and internal wear since i detuned it.

Valve works, but must try only to get a nice string out of it.

by a fill of 210 Bar, I get with JSB King ( 25,4 grains ) 1043 ft/sec.
is 61 ft/lbs 😯 that’s the dubble of my .22 rifle. 😈

Like to know the BC of the JSB King at 1043 ft/sec, calc. at 100 meters.
for the real long range work,
like to do some “paperwork” at 150 meters. ( 164 yards ) 😛

Hi,

BC valvue’s are not allways the same , depends als on the Power,

We will try to do some testing, at 100 meters ( 109 yards ).

and make notes of the weather conditions with other data.

Maybe tomorrow when I have my hi flow valve works. 😛

we will try also the .25 Bara’s and Benjanmins and maybe the loguns.

Wow, thats a big difference !
You Dutch got some nice thin atmosphere there??!!
As always with BC values, results differ big time depending on the conditions…
I much prefer the 0.041 number though!!

jsb .25 25,4 grains bc 0,041 mesurment by Vo and V50 ( meters )

power +/_ 48 ft/lbs.

Just recieved a tin of these and about to go try em out in my AZ R25. Anyone here have any experience with them yet? I’ll post my results after my shooting session.

Not bad! 😀
