Calling out on Peter!
Back in March 2016 i bought a .25 cal Vulcan tactical from Boris Peter dad. The shroud needed modification. I requested for Peter to modify my shroud, to make it quieter. “Silent tunes”. What a POS modification. I got it back but it was poor quality. His workmanship can be compared to being butchered as heck. I shipped my shroud back to him because he said that he would replaced it with unmodified shroud Well, it’s been almost 4 months and he has yet returned my shroud and he’s not responding to any of my calls and emails. He disappeared and disappeared with my shroud. Although, he’s hiding from me cause he doesn’t want to return my shroud, I’m just glad that he’s out of this business. He’s better off driving delivering packages for UPS!!!.
Because I’m so frustrated about this matter, I reached out to Tony from TalonTunes. I have no words for Tony other than, He seems like a great guy. He’s willing to help me. And Joe B, he offered me a shroud for free but i didnt take it because i thought Peter will replace it for me.
…i guess I’ll be in touch with Joe B hoping he still has the shroud. And Tony hope he got answer for me. If he can get one from Evgeny.

I called Peter, answering machine pick up. He said call back in a month because his on vacation. Lol. He’s going on vacation alright with Steve smith for atlease 20 years and a million bucks. In federal prison that is . Adios amigos!!!

Maybe I am deaf but imo Vulcan shroud is pretty quiet out of the box. For me the hammer spring ping is louder.
Last time i asked Evengy for help he told me it was best to go thru the seller which at the time was Peter. So not much help in my situation either, maybe it was a just bad timing, but it was my only point of reference.

Made it way louder it was a complete scam I been writing evengy About purchasing a stock he has not been getting right back to me like they used to idk if this is yor experience too with the shroud seems hard to buy stuff direct

Donny I’m so glad you remember the picture i send you. Not only he butchered my shroud, he ran with it too.
I have seen some of Peter’s silent tunes, they were hack jobs. For what he charged and the effectiveness of them it was a scam.

it is not much to the shrouds really,
a piece of carbon fibre tube (can get from china cheap) or I just found that for similar price you can get a titanium tube these days too.
the endcaps need machining, can be still aluminium or brass and the bit in the middle, but as we could see those can be just DIY ed even from “commercial” sellers
if you want to improve it further baffles can be added.
