Q:

Beeman R9 / Hw95 want a ‘K’arbine barrel

I live in the US, and have a Beeman R9 variant of the HW95 that I changed caliber from .177 to .22. The new barrel came with the muzzle brake. I like it, but want to put on the super short Karbine barrel with threads for LDC, and cannot find sources in .22 caliber anywhere. Even from Knibbs and Chambers who supply a lot of parts and barrels in the UK does not have them in .22 I believe some barrels were interchangeable between guns, yet there is no clear information on that anywhere either. Chambers has a .20k barrel, not a .22. And they also have an HW90 .22k barrel and wondered if that might fit too?? So It is looking like I will have to have the .22 shortened and threaded for 1/2″ UNF, but wondered if it is possible to have the barrel re-choked again? Anyone have any ideas??

I’d try contacting that dude at Airgunwerks . He knows a TON of stuff and replies to emails very quickly . If they don’t make one from the factory , that dude can build it for you on your frame ..I saw a break barrel he had worked on at our local rifle range ….It was I credible to hold and shoot . State of the art type work . No idea what he charges , but the best are never cheap ..Check him out
