Q:

belleville Washers for Cricket

Eernest or anyone for that matter, I need to know how the belleville washers I believe they are called inside the regulator of the Cricket go together, I watched your video on taking the regulator apart and I still don’t quite understand the order in which they go. Are they all the same direction? I am guessing not two one way the next two the other way? if you would let me know, I really can’t tell how they go, I took the first set off to look at them and don’t want to mess with the others untiil I know for sure how they go thanks Eddie

Where did you get that reg tester? Lemme guess…if you told me you would have to… :4:

I’m getting consistent strings until I get about the 4th mag…than my fps goes up from avg 930’s (15.89grain) to 945 fps avg. I’ve been contemplating removing the reg and polishing the washers and replacing the o rings but I am still getting amazing groups so I don’t know if its worth taking it apart to mess with anything just yet. Also I have no leaks so again just worried I don’t seat a o ring and then I have a leaky Cricket.

yes your correct, the seat is to far to seal unregulated air, your shot string will become abnormal—really high bell curve. your getting vary close, you should only need no more then 130B, to start the HST adjuster should be flush with the block then work it in to your selected speed. the only way to find out the reg is seated—is to fill to 220B then take a 3 shot string if your speed is above 880fps its seated, if shooting in the 700 fps its off the reg.

Yes you are correct but am I correct on what I said? if you go out to far with the reg adjustment your pressure goes down in fps quite a bit? I am thinking if you screw out the regulator adjustment to far it seems like it would leak air. IF you get some time let me know what happens inside the regulator if the delrin adjusment knob is turned out to far? I understand it is no longer regulated air but I need to know what happens if you screw it out to far. my experience today my fps dropped off and it was shooting from around 860fps with 18gr pellets and went down to around 400 fps? hammer adjustment doesn’t seem like it does allot once you get the reg set is this normal?

Thankyou for that Ernest I have to adjust my regulator some more and want to make sure sense I had the first section off I have them on correct thanks a bunch!

Also I see what you mean by making minor adjustments to the delrin adjuster, I am guessing on my third attempt I went out to far with it, I am getting low fps I was at around 844 fps with 18gr jsb’s then it went to around 700 so am I adjusted out to far and the regulator is not doing it job? I have been useing a caliper to measure over all length I am out to 2.080 in inches when i went out to 2.120 I lost my regulated air it dropped down to low power. So I am guessing I have to find a happy place in between this setting? thanks again Ernest you are alot of help to me Eddie

In EdGun they do go the way you don´t want them to go; One the one way and the other facing the opposite way. I´m quite sure it´s the same with the Cricket but since i´ve yet to open it i´m not 100% on that. Ernest ??

EDIT : … and there he was. That´s what i meant, sort of.. ! The EdGun is little different then.
