Bench vice question……..
I am looking for a bench vice – which size would be ideal fir airgun related repairs . Will a jaw suze of 2.5″ be alright
The condor bottle fits in perfectly. Also do I need a fixed vice or will a portable clamp type do ?

I use this and would buy it again. Use it to shoot sometimes too.
It has an adjustable clamp and works for all I ever do with my guns. I Like the fact that you can lock it down tight too.

Not entirely sure what you’re after. I like a bench vise to be solid. This means bolted to the bench.
Had a 6″ Record where I worked. Liked it enough to pony up the dough for one in my garage at home. $180
My thinking…..you can make a large vise hold small parts…you cannot make a small vise hold large parts.
