I’m glad crossman is going back to cheap and affordable. I really don’t think they had a chance in the higher end market they were trying to wiggle into a few years ago. This will be the most affordable pcp sold as of yet. Good direction for the company

Exactly. I’m looking forward to giving this one a go. Not expecting it to be anything other than a fun toy… and if it proves remotely reliable, I’m sure folks will figure out mods for it. Regardless, should be fun. Hoping a wood stock will fit though. Not much of a fan of the synthetic, but at 150 bucks, I can deal.
I know exactly what to expect. I’ve had a couple 1077’s really fun to shoot, crappy trigger, bad leaks, I’m still interested in this

People need to relies what this gun is. It is just a short range plinker. You are not going to build this into a 1000 yard 999 ft lbs bear killer with .00000001″ center to center shots. It is made to have fun and run off the PCP pumps and tanks you have. This is for the kids and BBQ parties to kill soda cans. Just think of all the money you can save on CO2 :biggrinn: :2cents:
I kind of lost interest as I read it was based on the old 1077. Ever shot one? Real crappy trigger. The trigger pull feeds the pellet. No need for a scope on that if it is like the 1077. 800 fps with a 7 gr pellet. So it is about the power of a P-Rod. A bird gun or maybe light squirrel gun at close range if you can hit him. I would say a P-Rod is a much better deal.
“Based on the well known 1077 platform”
“Is there an improvement on the standard 1077 trigger pull of over 10lbs?
Val from USA:
unfortunately standard 1077 trigger. But still a LOT of fun to shoot!”

Kinda makes you think why other PCPs are so expensive…they have been exposed! Go Crosman! USA, USA!
I’ll wait for Amazon to put them up for sale at $85 or less. Regards, Tom
Cool.
I’m interested just waiting on availability

I have seen it on some sites. It could make for a good backyard play toy. I may look into one down the road.

For anybody that picked up one of these there is a drop in trigger mod to give it a nice light trigger, for $30 plus $6 shipping. Seen it here on this forum http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/message/1486087125/FS-++Adjustable+2-Stage+Replacement+Trigger+for+Crosman+1077+and+Benjamin+Wildfire
