Q:

Beretta PX4

Got a Beretta PX4 some time back decided to show you guys! Fun little pistol to shoot with.

It’s pretty accurate if you use NICE pellets not cheap pellets.

It was quite windy out as well I might do more when it’s nice out.
I had it marked for tomorrow, but it was suppost to rain so did it today.

It wont penetrate 2 liter bottles at all, even with water in them.. tried from 5ft still nothing.. oh well, goes right through apples, and other fruits though no problem there..

Here’s the ammo I used;

Daisy Precision Max .177 Cal, 7.8 Grains
JSB Diabolo Exact .177 Cal, 8.4 Grains
Beeman Silver Bear Hi-impact .177 Cal, 7.1 Grains
Gamo Pro Magnum .177 Cal, 7.8 Grains

pictures!

5ft accuracy –
JSB and beeman were very accurate, gamo and daisy well,, they sucked.

15ft accuracy –
JSB and beeman again good, gamo FAILED and daisy wasnt that impressive either.

the weapon!

It’s a fun little gun!

Beretta USGI contract magazines can be had for less than $10.00 if you shop around.

I prefer the Beretta because it’s a rock solid, reliable pistol that has an enormous aftermarket that you can use to customize or repair it as you like. H&K parts and accessories are harder to come by and vastly more expensive. H&K also has an unexplainable institutional loathing for civilian ownership of their higher end rifles, which hasn’t endeared them to me as a potential customer.

I received the PX4 from DeutschKSK today. It was packed well and everything was accounted for. It does shoot.

BUT!!!!

He failed to mention the barrel is loose and slides back preventing the magazine from being inserted. You need a screw driver to install the magazine.

Buyer be wary.

Fill that void in the hammer with lead & try on the bottles again! 😀

Have a look at this for a full strip of the PX4-
