Best bullpup?
I’ve seen people say that the Vulcan is the best bullpup out there. Why? What makes it so special?

Ville’s account has been HACKED, I heard he was killed in a strip club knife fight while missing with his first 5 shots!
Hope this was a wicked RUMOR

The Impotent Impact isn’t a hit or miss. It’s mostly miss and nothing else.

I can not believe the FX Impact even came up, Its a hit or miss with that gun, I do not care what Ted says.
With the other guns they are tried and true,
I think in a few years when FX gets it together, The Fx Impact will be a good gun.
I agree, There is no best for everyone, But I do have the best ones myself.

Got to test a .30 cal Impotent at the yesterdays 100m .22 LR competition. A really well shooting example at 255-260 mps.
Unfortunately a .30 cal Airgun is , for me , a Fish outta water. It doesn’t do anything better than a moderated .22 LR while being too much for any backyard shooting. And the pellets are expensive too.

Colibri!
And I also own a Vulcan and cricket.
I think all the bullpups are best for their owners. The guns being offered in the market are all accurate and reliable. Any of them can be the best you have ever owned or can have issues and be the worst of all you ever owned. :2cents:
I wish the mutant had the sidelever where the Vulcan has the Bolt….
to be philosophical about it, the best bullpup is the bullpup one can afford to own himself.
But we read many owners sing a chorus of praises for the Vulcan Bullpup out of the box.
I do not have US $ 1800 to test it for myself… so I believe them for now. They all put their money where their mouths are.
If it was a maker or manufacturer saying the same thing, that would just be “advertising”. But those are actual owners.
This totally depends on the shooter’s wishes/likes/needs … we cannot judge on one rifle and say this is the best rifle… everyone prefers different rifle… you prefer cricket, another one is Vulcan, i can say loudly my best BP is Edgun because Edgun meets all my needs for my hunting and country situation, perfectly…that is why i don’t want to buy any other brands… after trying many different brands i became to know that Edgun is the best BP for me…this is not my opinion only…who own Edgun in Iraq has this opinion…
So, still the best BP does not exist in the market that meets all shooters claim…. and this judgment is not fair if we say Vulcan or Edgun or FX or Daystate….. etc is the best BP …
Well said!
The best Bullpup ever made don´t exist – not straight from the factory it doesn´t. And never will.
We all have different preferences. I own/have owned a couple of Matador´s, Crickets in every caliber and a Vulcan. And tested each and every FX offering too. The funniest BP i´ve ever had was my venerable Cricket Compact .177. Still wonder why i sold it.
The Vulcan is a very good BP and i like it for its great accuracy and ease of handling. Never tested a Mutant and its mere looks scare me. A very fugly BP indeed and while i Always put the function Before form i still can´t get over the look.
What comes to EdGun is that i was deeply disappointed in BOTH of mine. Maybe the air in Iraq is better suited to them if you guys love them over there 😉 Here they do not rock – at all.
Whatever any of the makers claim : ” The best thing since Mankind discovered a PCP ( or Air ) , no need for any tuning, flawless out of the Box ” it’s pure BS.
The more a manufacturer claims for those things the more desperate he/she is to get the newest, best ever, sensational contribution of his/her to the market.
And they’re always in a big hurry too. Better to let a so-so gun out and start to get some money back ( making these buggers ain’t cheap ) for the investments made.
I know only one ( 1 ) manufacturer who’s stand behind his product, never been a loudmouth on these countless Forums and really stays behind his creation. That’s Evgeny at AGN. The rest of the bunch have a lot to learn from him.
Is his Vulcan the best of them ? If accuracy, build quality and the will to stand behind what you do and help customers in need counts – the Vulc , and Evgeny , gets my vote.
Like others have said, there’s no one best bullpup. Just look around the forums here. Many have chased what they have thought was the best bullpup. The search is endless so just pick one that best suits your eyes and needs.
Here are my thoughts on some that I had interest in or own.
– Edgun Matador – intriguing and timeless design. Accurate but magazine loading and indexing design has shown it’s age compared to newer competition.
– Kalibrgun Cricket – classic design. Again, very accurate but like the Matador has shown it’s age in indexing system and lever action.
– Taipan Mutant – fugly in certain aspects but a mechanical marvel. With some minor cosmetic changes and it’s relatively affordable pricing it’s a top contender but still not the best.
– AT Vulcan – I had a lot of interest when it was first introduced with a forward located cocking bolt but was disappointed with the walnut stock compared to the incredible one shown in their marketing ads. With the magazine design and too many exposed screwed on their action it was a tough $1,500 pill to swallow for me so I opted out.
– FX Impact – intriguing design so I still have this on my radar. Price is still rather high though. I don’t love the magazine design or the foster filling fill port idea either nor the gimmick telescoping shroud. Seems like they are listening and going with the fixed shroud in the latest revisions but I would think the greatest improvements that needs to be made is to go with a drop in Cricket/Mutant type magazine and implement a fill probe concept. This would fill many voids but it’s still not the best if you’re looking for a good piece of walnut to go with your guns.
Cricket….

Birdman, can you put 10 shots within one MOA at 100?
Like I said , my .25 Vulcan out of the box was shooting great like it was suppose too . Just like you would expect any brand new gun
PCP or rim fire gun should shoot . For me depending on pellet grain I was able to hit my target out to 193 yards effectively , and I
can not bitch about my results . A good scope will always be a main factor in your shooting results . Your shooting range is entirely
up to you . As to the best Bullpup that is solely up to the shooter and the all the conditions that the shooter is going to encounter
in the type of conditions that they will be shooting in . Not everyone will have the same shooting conditions , as for myself I get to
shoot in open areas and will never be hinder by heavy bushes or trees and snag me in my quest for the game I get to shoot .

It’s not a rumor at all, although it wasn’t a knife fight. A 120 kg stripper sat on my face and i died due a lack of oxygen.
This is my Ghost typing.
And while i do i have something very inportant to pass on:
I thank no one but myself and i hate you all 😉
