Best cleaning method for Talon
What do you guy’s suggest is the best cleaning method for the Talon and how many of you use oil on your pellets, if so what kind?

Ill use each 100 shots one pass of bore cleaner Gun Mate snake.
Lubing your pellets can make it easier to clean your barrel. Krytec is recommended by many. It’s actually a lube for motorcycle chains, but has proven to do a good job with pellets as well, with way less patch pulls thru your barrel to clean it out. Here’s what to look for in case you wanna try it.
That’s kind of what I figured, tempting as it’s been. 😆
I wouldnt recommend using a brass brush to clean an airgun barrel. Airgun barrels are reportedly too soft and even if they werent theres nothing in the barrel that would need a brush made out of metal to clean it off.
Does anyone use or recommend one of those brass brushes inside the barrel?
I sometimes use FP-10 on pellets.
As for cleaning, I use a length of fishing like with knots on each end – one for a dowel as a handle and the other to pass a cleaning patch through. Then drag patches with FP-10 on them a few times. I don’t do it until the patches come out clean because that would take forever. Just do it 3 or 4 times.
I use Beeman Metaphilic Oil on anything that might rust giving it a quick rub down. I only use Beeman oil because thats what I ordered from AGE ages ago – when it runs out I’ll just use regular non detergent motor oil or something.
O-Rings get a little bit of 100% divers silicone (clear sticky stuff) – not often at all though, maybe once every 6 months or if I strip gun for something I’ll relube the breech o-rings.

Will just remove the tank to clean (carefully) from the breech. Do tend to run the patch one-way through the barrel (never have seen, airarm or firearm, how dragging a dirty patch back though the bore was of any help at all).
