best co2 tank size
I just received a .22 Talon SS which is actually a Christmas present from my wife. It comes with the promotion co2 valve that AF is running now, and I will just use that shooting in the basement for now. I haven’t sorted out the air supply situation, but will probably buy a Hill pump a bit later (scuba filling is not convenient where I live).
My question is what size co2 tank seems to be the best? Per the wisdom of this forum I got a Bushnell 5-15 Legend scope and am mounting it with Leapers one piece, hi-mount rings.
When coupled to the valve, the 12 oz. tank seems closest in size to the standard AF air tank. Or maybe a 20 oz. is better. I am asking those of you who have actually shot with the co2 tanks if you have a preference. It seems better to have a similar feeling set-up when switching from co2 to air and vice-versa. I have searched the forum for this topic and been unable to find any response.
Thanks to all for giving me hours of pleasant reading while deciding which gun and accessories to buy.

Excellent feedback, guys. I think after reading your responses I will try the 12 oz. size.
