Best Day Ever
Hello my fellow TAGers,
I’m a very happy chappy to day. I have been trying for a wile now to convince Lady J Player to let me take my boy out in the yard and shoot. Today however with much discussion she caved 😀 .
I set up a cereal box target and got out the red ryder. My son is 2yrs an 3 months old so he wasn’t quite shooting but he was sat on my lap holding the stock and aiming witch is good enough for me.
We sat and and put about 40 shots through the cereal box and he enjoyed every one. This is a day I will remember forever and I cant wait to do it again. Ya son’s gotta be the best shooting buddy a guy could ask for. So hears to many more.

That is what we could use more of in THIS country, especially in the friggin cities!!!

I think the uk has one of the worlds highest teenage pregnantcie rates and most of those are idiots!! I recon soon as he can type TAG, He’s in! 😀

I remember the first time I took my son shooting. I had purchased a single-shot .22 specifically for that purpose.
When we arrived at the range, my friend pulled out an Carbon AR15 assault rifle built on a pistol frame with a 10″ barrel, muzzle brake and fully loaded 20 round 5.56 magazine. My boy (then 8 years-old) pulled off a shot, the slowly fired another, then blasted the last 18 in short order. His smile was brighter than the 2′ flames coming from the muzzle.
Needless to say, that single-shot .22 did not get used.

I know mate, we didn’t plan him and it was a complete shock to the system but I wouldn’t change things for the world. Becoming a dad forced me to grow up but trust me I’m still trying to get my shit together, trying this, trying that still haven’t found my niche but i’m getting there.

sucks when you buy ya kid sumthing an ya real happy with ya self then ya buddy comes along with sumthing better an they forget all about what you got em! Glorie steeling barstards!! 😡 lol ya cant blame em for loving the Big guns though! 😀
