best pellets please?
Greetings fellow plinkers. I am a newby to the PCP arena. I received my condor last week along with two types of pellets Eunjin 28.something hunting pellets and Beeman 14.something field match pellets. I fired two days in a row and as expected my best groups regardless of power setting were with the heavier EJ’s. I achieved 1.5 inch group @ 30 yards on level 4 with 2600 psi. The lighter Beemans did not group nearly as well and whenever the wind would pick up they would fly even further off course. I fired the EJ’s @ 100 yards on full power but my groups were no better than 8″ (it was windy and it was my condor’s first time firing).
Any suggestions on pellets brands , weights, power levels, etc. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your results thus far are unremarkable. I would recommend continued work on technique and also the use of a standard pellet like the Kodiak. I’m not trying to advertise for the Kodiak pellets but many on the forum use them with great results and that means you will have a basis for comparison. Until you find a pellet and power combnation that yields groups of around .5″ at 30 yards, there is little point in shooting at 100 yards.
I’ve got 8 tins of Kodiaks due to arrive today, if that tells ya anything.
But truth told, I haven’t come across a pellet that I’d grade as “lousy”, they’re all small shades of difference to each other in terms of performance.
The 15gr Exacts are the only ones I’m having problems with these days.
I’ll throw in a nod for the Predator Polymags, I have full confidence in their ability to hit whatever I’m aiming at.

Kodiaks. Next, The JSB’s in the 15.9. I ordered a tin o fthe new 18 gr. JSB’s from AOA two weeks ago. 😕 Nothing!

My two cents…the closer you are to 20 grains the better. I’m talking about the .22 Cal…. My T.T.C. loves the Kodiaks.

Most of us here will swear by Beeman Kodiaks or JSB Exacts. They have proven themselves time and time again.
Most importantly find the most accurate pellet in your particular gun. If you find two that are equally accurate, use the one with the highest ballistic coefficient.
