Q:

best place/deal to buy a new condor

Well A.G.D refunded my money from my Walther Falcon Hunter to my card. They sent me a bid for a new condor via email:

quote :

Hello,

Credit was submitted to your card yesterday, it should show on your statement by
now.

Here is the run down of your replacement order:

$577.00
Scuba Refill Clamp with Gauge

$119.95
RWS Superpoint .22 cal Pellets – 500 ct
$12.99

Your standing total is at $774.89. I’ve saved this as Quote 1029. You can
reply to this email and I can charge the order from the card you used on your
last order or you can call in with a new number at 866 477 4867. Thanks.

Sincerely,

(alt+q)

The part that upsets me about this quote is that, they want to charge me $120 for the co2 adapter. I have spoken to airforce guns directly and they said that, this is a free item with the purchase of the gun currently. I did not request it for free, I just wanted to see if they would offer it to me (honesty check). They did not, now I am thinking of placing my order for another dealer. I am thinking about going with Pyramyd now.

What do you guys think?

Any currnet discounts?

here’s a “new kid on the block” as far as airgun suppliers.

http://www.longislandairguns.com/

You’ll have to give him a call for pricing but he is a gentleman to deal with if you prefer to stay away from the “big” dealers and deal with a real person.

I called up Long Island Air to see what they had. Talked with them for about an hour. Ended up ordering a new Condor. the price was lower than the 4 other dealers I called.

I thought it was time to actually join this forum and not just read it.

(I just got a gun from him and he beat Pyramid’s price by just a bit).

1 USD = 0.785842 EUR
1 EUR = 1.27252 USD

so your conversion is wrong its 800.00 EUR = 1,018.02 USD and that is way too much for a condor !

my bad, look below for the conversion.

How do you do! Sorry for my english.I have a new CONDOR.Your prices are very laughable. What we have in Ukraine?
Colliction:riffle with tank,+refill adapter=800 😯 euro!
So,if your interesting -my riffle`s ¹ BC02558.

I paid $10 extra dollars to have pyramyd test the rifle before they ship it. Hopefully they take the time to repack everything neatly. The condors are on back order until 12-18-08, so i will just have to wait.

I picked up my condor from pyramyd air and the only gripe i had was the poor packaging for my refill clamp and gauge. 😥 The glass on it was cracked on the side which i attribute to them not putting it in bubble wrap and it sliding and bouncing around in the long box they put the rifle in.

I placed my order with Pyramyd today. Pyramyd will not use any discounts on airforce products, however, I did find the condor for 5% off at http://www.topairgun.com. Which is a sub-contractor for pyramyd air.

The owner of Topairgun (DIRT E. HARRY) told me to buy my gun from Pyramyd, because his online store is located in CA (about 70mi from my house). This would mean that I would have to pay sales tax (8%) on the purchase, And the total price would be more than Pyramyd, even with his 5% discount. Pyramyd did not want to match the 5% off, however, They gave in.

Pyramyd told me that top air gun should not be selling his guns below the market price. Top air gun has his prices listed on the net, so I am just passing the info on to everyone else. If anyone is looking for any airguns a little cheaper than the rest of the dealers check out http://www.TOPAIRGUN.com and give him a call at 1.888.275.9521 ask for DIRT E. HARRY.

I checked out and saved to my favorites all the web sites that was posted.

Tell ’em that they need to throw in the adapter for free or you’ll walk.

Didn’t do the math, but also look at what Pyramid is asking for the same setup with the 10% discount.

use this number with PA for 10% more off-995m69fb29

People I have dealt with and trust are

Mac1 airguns
Straight Shooters
Air Hog
Cobra Airguns

You can actually talk to people who know about airguns when you buy them.
