Best psi for condor
Yes I know every gun is different but I was wondering which psi range the condor shoots best at. I have a fully tuned .25 condor from tony with his shroud put on it. I get a variety of different fpe depending on the psi fill.
Also, the poi of my pullets change depending on the PSI. I get very good accuracy from about 2750-2600 psi. Then suddenly, the poi will change.
What are your guys best fill pressure ranges to shoot at, including for the most power and accuracy?

lets not forget the hammer weight/type is going to affect optimal fill as well. if you got a AAA CONDOR, chances are you got a heavier hammer, which will knock the valve open wider for any given fill pressure
Each gun is a little different. Mine is bone stock and shoots almost too fast at 2400psi with PW 1.8. I’m clocking 1080fps with 18gn pellets and 980 with 21.1gn.
Next time I’m at the range I’m going to push the heavy pellets a little faster.
One thing I like about a low PW setting is the light trigger pull and less recoil. My accuracy is a lot better without a high PW setting and the impact which I can see in the scope.
Mine came from Tony with the power wheel on 8 and a recommended SP of 2800. I forget what my TH is on it. Shoots too accurately and powerfully to even worry about running it over the crony. I’ve had it for a few years now It is a fully tuned AAA .25 condor. 😉
Ill have to dig out my letter from tony that came with my gun, but I thought he said my gun would shoot best at 2800 psi. Anyways, I have a chrony and I’ll probably do some more tests on my condor this weekend.
I was just curious to see if most condors have a common fill pressure that works best.
I have a T.T. Condor .22 Cal. 24″ barrel T.T. shroud and Condor hi-flo valve. My gun likes 2500 Psi. and 21.1 Gr. Kodiaks.
My Talon SS favors 2600psi down to 2000psi.
Experiment, and settle on a ammo, pressure, and PW that’s consistent for you.
It’s more complicated that that. We have been doing a lot of testing with the Stubby Extreme and hi-flo valves at various temperatures, humidity, and two different altitudes (6000 ft different) and while I typically use 2600-2700 as a fill point for the hi-flo valve that peak shifts when all 3 environmental conditions change so for my gun at least the number isn’t static. My Marauder changes proportionally too even though the valve setup is different.

Tony might have sent you a shot string or proof target that has psi on it, that would be a good place to start. At least share the info here so the guys that really know these guns can chime in with a basis of observation. Without a known starting point, you’re going to here “get a chrony” pretty often (you probably want to do that anyhow).
I run a 22 Condor 24″ barrel and get consistent POI from 2400psi down to 1800psi at 50 yards.

Also lets remember that some ppl. like a bell (I actually think an arch better describes it) curve and others don’t. Some ppl. want to be in the max. power band from shot one and sacrifce shot count and fill more often. Others don’t mind a small arch/curve so will overfill (By that I mean for THEIR gun, not past 3K)the tank to get the curve/arch they want.
