Best scope fo a PCP?
What do you all think is the best scope for a PCP rifle?
I don’t have a PCP yet but I want to get a AirForce Condor. Just want to get a good reliable scope for it.
I have a Leapers 4-16×50 on my springer now it works fine.
Ive been considering getting a Leupold or Nikon scope. Or a schmidtbender.
What do you all think is the best choice for a PCP?

Whats a target dot reticle, is one of those that move around?
For about $60 on sale, the Barska 6.5-20×50 “Varmint” is hard to beat, if you know how to work with a target-dot reticle.
Leapers have treated me very well on both my R-7 & PCPs (and treated my targets poorly). Work great for the $$ . . . my $0.02, which is likely more than it’s worth . . .

if you want illuminated scope leapers suck….the illumination is so bright it will ruin you ability to see at night….get one with 7 or 12 adjustments in just red
nikko sterling nighteater 6-24×56 is WAY nicer than leapers and centerpoint
rex 6-25×56 is close to the nikko in quality, seems a little heavier and more sturdy…might might not be so
highend glass put a bushnell 6-24×40 on it…better than nikko and rex, lighter, and brighter too, life time warrenty but its very long scope
How old are you again? Looking for a s&b for an airgun? Haha. I’d be impressed if you could afford that on top of buying the airgun. Those are some pricy scopes my friend. Some of the best mind you, but god awful expensive. A scope like that would double and possibly triple what you payed for the gun. That one is probably out of the running.
Leupold is nice. Most of the guys here won’t put one on their airgun though. Another one to look at in the same price range as leupold is zeiss.
I like the leapers, big scopes, but they get the job done. Plus they are affordable. My condor has an 8-32×56 from leapers. The other advantage leapers have is they all have the adjustable objective, which you almost need for the airguns. So I’d vote for a leapers.
Of course, if you are looking at the s&b you might also want to check out usoptics. haha
Bushnell 3200 & up are great.
Below the 3200 series are nice, but over rated- (IMO)
BSA scopes are good for the money.
Barska is “hit or miss” with quality.
Leapers & Centerpoint are a bit heavy, but if you are shooting off of a bench or bipod, they are good.
Simmons mid-upper line scopes are a good value, you get a lot for the $$
I scoped both my Condor and my Talon SS with a CenterPoint 4-16X56 with red/green illuminated reticles/mill dots. I especially like the left knob that adjusts from 5 yards to infinity. Nice crisp clear field of vision at all powers. Price was reasonable at $180

Bushnell is hard to beat for the money. If you want the best for the buck the Bushnell Legend it great. The Elites are fantastic.
just my opinion…. go with Bushnell Legend 5-15×40

A target-dot reticle is a very fine crosshair with a very tiny dot in the center. No mildots or anything else.
