best solution for field tank filling??
I am a new cricket user .
I did alot of search to find the best solution to fill cricket in the field
Most of the small filling tanks with output regulator of 2900 psi
Any good ideas ?

just a question came through my mind, which i worried about long time ago, or most of the other members as well,,,, since your air cylinder (which is shown in this pic below) is AirHog, and AirHog is from USA, so, they are DOT approved, then how can you refill it in Eu, since all USA air cylinder mentioned that they are DOT approved and they are for US markets or so,,, ????
so, if someone get Cylinder from BEST FITTING, then he can easily refill it in USA, isn’t it?
This little airhog weighs next to nothing. Throw in a Leyla, – and you have the perfect travel outfit…….. 😉
Fits neatly into a smallish bag or a knapsack……..

The super fast Ninja fill kinda makes me nervous with the thinner air reservoir rifles like Air Arms. I’m sure the Cricket, Edgun and FX can take it. Plus, the AA only gets filled to 180 bar, about 2,600 psi-shoots like crap at higher pressures. Since variable output psi and slower fill are desired, looks like the AH will be my choice.
So what’s the current news on best compressors? Raptors?
I have this which I put together 100 ci tank with jubilee valve
I guess that is why they call it a Ninja system. One second you are here and when that valve opens too fast – your not. 😯

That air hog is on the expensive side..plus if I’m not mistaken you need to buy the fill whip seperetly rather the ninja is $299 and comes with everything you need….the tank fill to 4500psi and outputs 3000psi never a chance of overfilling and exploding the gun..lol. 😆

Where can i get one?
It comes with the tank and fill line with gauge…and the tank has a 3000psi output so you could never overfill your gun.
A longer hose is also reducing fill capacity as it consumes more air when filling and bleeding the hose…..
Gauge on tank is from AirHog and measures the tank side of things. Only rarely you’ll find gauges matching on both sides. For safety reasons I always watch and “listen to” the gauge showing the highest pressure. Below is an image that illustrates. My DS AirWolf MVT is reporting some 246 bars while the fillkit shows some 230. Which one to trust ????

Nice! Longer hose and the fittings a bit more user friendly. Very pretty compact setup. Is that gauge tank pressure or output/gun side? I’m trying to find a setup where looking at the gun’s gauge is not needed. thanks.

Thanks for the tip. So it’s $300 for just the tank? Is the fill adapter equipped with a pressure gauge on the output? Could not see one.

Officially my DOT approved AirHogs can NOT be filled within EU or Norway for that matter……..
But if you happen to have your own compressor (Shoebox or other) or know somebody who has, – there is not much of a problem….. 😉
