best spot for INSTANT DRT on a cat sized animal?
Well what is the Best sopt for instant DRT on a Cat “sized” animal?
I have a serious problem with strays in my city and This morning there was one in my truck
i left door open for 5 mins while i was inside and come out this mangy lookin stray is there
plus they completely ruined my kids sand box last week
i had to clean it out and get new sand and build a Plywood top for it
I have my benji 392 and she is making close to 30 FPE
and is very accurate so where do it hit them for a DRT kill?
i dont want them running anywhere

well i had several acres of land for the fucker to expire in. and it was in a part of the world where vets are a luxury. besides it was a feral creature so no issue. but if u put it like that then upgrade to a .22 kodiak. that just ups the fun factor a bit.
yeah but 20 yards where, for who to see, and take to a vet and tell who! , to come find what happened, and WHY! I figure if you shoot a 22 like it was a .177, only best angled head shots, you will be allot better off. and i have heard of both glancing off the skull, I have heard of .177 not penetrate a big toms skull, knock him cold, then get up a walk off. sure a 22 has allot more energy to use but the same applies,cats are tuff.

go easy will ya guys ! its a cat. a kodiak out of a discovery at 15 ftlbs is all it takes even after 30 yds. just place it bet the eyes , or behind the ear. all failing shoot the sucker in the pumphouse they rarely go more than 20 yds if heart lung shot.

Oh, i have heard that a frontal shot is bad due to the angle of the skull, that the side shot , just below the ear with a angle forward is for sure DRT!

frontal is no prob at approx 30 fpe .22 jsb @ 20-30y it wont skip off…just plant perfectly between eyes at same height as eyes center … easy to see when they light up at night i suspect 🙄

sorry i wasnt my self….kill it…shot between eye and ear, or between eyes…with anything above 15 fpe and use something like a kodiak or jsb round nose….more than 20-30 yards increase power…dont try long shots
