Bi-focal/Progressive lens mod for mil dot scopes
This mod isn’t going to help everyone but if you are wearing bi-focals or progressive len glasses and you can not see the cross hairs clearly this is what I did….I first thought that I would just pick up some cheap reading glasses from walmart and use them to shoot thinking I would be able to see the cross hairs more easily. Well that didn’t happen…They were still fuzzy….I then had the bright idea to put the len over the scope to see if that made any diff….Nope….So just for schiznits and giggles, I put my prescription glasses on and put the walmart lens on over the end of the scope and waaaallaaaaaa….Maybe not 20/20 but 100 times better than before….I can clearly see each and every dot at any and all magnifications and distances..So, I took the lens out of the frame, put it on the end of the scope and traced it with a sharpie…I then cut the circle out with my dremmel and stuck it to the end of the scope with some art puddy……Walmart glasses are $16.00 in the drug department……..
See ya!

Gotta question for ya knifemaker. Now that my ignorance has been brought to light..lol….Does adjusting the rear lens change the parallax?.. I mean, if I change the rear does it have an effect on where the parallax focuses? Will my parallax yds change?
