Q:

Big Bore air rifle

Is it possible to suppress the sound level when it is around 240fpe @ 800fps?
I am asking about the korean big bore such as the SamYang 909, career 707 and Fire201S?

Other Guns

AZ told me it would take a can 13 inches long, and 7 inches around to reduce the sound about %40-%45 percent (I think). I’ve heard from others it can be made smaller, and more effective.

You’ll surely need a tax-stamp for it.

Did your DAQ tuned by BBB? Or it is a stock DAQ? Also, does the LDC be effective in these Big Bore rifle that puts out nearly 300fpe?

DAQ of course! His guns works of art and he is regarded as one of the best airsmiths of our time.

That said, my 909s is every bit as accurate as my DAQ 50. Not near as powerful, but just as accurate. My 909s puts out around 185fpe whereas my DAQ will put out around 300fpe.

Would you prefer DAQ Big Bore or the Korean Big Bore Air Rifle? Thanks

Sure it is. If you have a large enough can. Just need volume. Large slugs travelling subsonic are just about perfect for keeping quiet.

The 909 .45 even has a threaded barrel.

I just dont know that the volume required would make a very ‘handy’ package.
