Q:

Big Bore Escape

so I’ve been thinking. since these little airguns are such “power houses” in .25! has anyone considered making one of these a “big bore”? is it even possible? it is my understanding that the barrels on all airforce airguns are all interchangeable, is this correct? I am assuming that a big bore barrel can be fitted onto the escape. with the power these little hotrods are making would they have enough “umph” to push a big bore cal. pellet? ie.357,.308 or even .45….. what does anyone think about this?? I would love any input or info on this..

To make it a big bore you would change the valve anyway. So yes you could do it but you would want the larger tank so you could get more shots out of it. With that small tank and a large valve you would get like 2 good shots on a good day.

I understand that the Texan in different than the rest. what I am wondering is if it is possible to make the escape a big bore like you would do a condor or talon.

The big bore is different then the Escape 😐
