It is a very good base platform for you to mess with for sure.
Is this gun looking to be a strictly a roundball shooter at this point? I would like a RB-specific rifle sometime. What twist rate is the barrel?
Butcher, I haven’t decided on a Velocity yet but, It will be between 800-900 FPS. I have a lot of tuning to do. But i have some good ideas to get some consistency and the power. Now i just need a SCOPE and the custom STOCK.
Is it possible to suppress the sound level when it is around 240fpe @ 800fps?

I am going with the .32 caliber. I was gonna get the .308 but, he said that the .32 was much more accurate. Its funny though cause the bore diameters are just about the same…..he he. He even took the .308 listing off of his website.
I am getting the barrel, the airtube, and the accessories that come with them. I am in the market for a beautiful stock like yours but, i am waiting for him to get his machine up and running that makes stocks. Where did you get yours from ROB?

It’s looking good as to power and such with the QB action. I tried something differant on this tube when testing and it’s the most power i have got in the push to cock design. Almost equal to the side cocker.

Would that be 900 with a ball or a slug? It doesn’t really matter so long as you understand what you’re getting.

Exactly. What I meant was that people might get hold of one not knowing its lower power levels and assume, because it takes a fat little pellet, that it can do things that it isn’t designed for.
Right. His big bores are not DAQ type big bores. No one is going to be taking deer with these. These are for larger small game such as groundhog, raccoon, and fox. My .32 is actually tuned DOWN to around 50fpe for more shots.
The cool thing is that his guns give a good number of shots…. 12-20 shots depending on power level, whereas the DAQ’s give 3-5.
Of course, the DAQ’s are in a league of their own, but for someone wanting to try a ‘smaller’ big bore that is readily available, the Haley guns are great.
havent crunched no numbers might have him build me a 177 bench rifle he builds his own stocks so maybe cool 😀
The .32 seems nice, but from the numbers that he provides it only makes 70fpe, which might catch a few people unawares.

Yes, mostly roundball for now. Until i stumble upon something really great. Mayb some 76 gr or 115-120 gr .308 bullets but, for now, just roundballs. I have entirely too much different ammo in each gun that i own, and i wanna and should start narrowing it down to just 1 or two. The gun seems to be made for the RB’s.
