Exactly. Viva La Mexico – Viva Zapata !!

I like your thinking, If I make something and it cost me 30 bucks to make and I sell it for 200 dollars and some one else comes along and makes it for 30 bucks and sells it for 40 bucks
I mean that the shit,, One guy wants to get rich and the other wants to make a little money,,,
I go to the Dentist in Mexico that want to make a living where the dentist in the USA want to get rich,
AS a general rule if the Dentist is going to charge you 5000 dollars in the US , In Mexico just knock off the last zero, 500 dollars.

Yep. No comparison between those two IMO. Atlas is far better by design and although the cranky Uncle things it´s too complicated ( after all it has more than two moving /adjustable parts) it is immensely adjustable and thus very good in ie hunting situations.

I meant the Atlas and the Harris…………………………sorry

n this case that´s BS. The real Atlas costs ten times the price of the GB knock-off. I assure you it isn´t ten times better though – not even twice as good.
Once you give the knock-off little attention (some Loctite, grease and careful torquing) it works really well.
I had this discussion with the owner/founder/head Honcho of Atlas a good while back (he also referred to me as a Thief and whatnot 🙂 ) so i actually did a little testing Atlas vs GB knock-off and everyone (who tried them both back-to-back) agreed there´s not nearly enough difference between those two to justify the 10 x higher price tag the real Atlas has on it. :2cents: :2cents:

Now, i get all that around brand name, materials and whatnot pushing up the cost but still …

There’s an old saying, you get what you pay for. :2cents:

Yep Ville you can’t beat a Atlas, I only have two but their not the knock off ones. They’re the real McCoy.

I love my Atlas copies and so i own four sets of them. After a little TLC they work very well. I like well made Harris copies too but i feel Atlas , although more complex in build (which causes Uncle Hoot: headache) , supports the Rifle better when the legs are pointed 45 degrees forward. A Rifle – any Rifle – kinda rests is weight “suspended” on the Bipod .

It is not copy of Atlas it is copy of harrys. Copy of atlas is here http://www.new-greenbase.com/list.asp?id=6076

I am not sure I understand? Is this a copy of a US made bipod (Atlas) I am not sure of what I have bought , If its a copy of a 200 $ Atlas tripod for 30 bucks…
Something is wrong here,,,
Mike
