Q:

bipod placement on a Condor?

I vaguely remember reading on the forum, maybe it was a sticky, that for accuracy it is recommended that the bipod should be mounted as close to the forearm as possible, rather than towards the muzzle. Wondering if that is the general consensus of the group. Thanks.

That reasoning seems sound to me.

Give me a long enough lever and I will move the world.

Putting pressure at the front of the frame will cause the frame to flex and will have a direct effect on the relation of the scope and barrel alignment.

What is the reasoning behind that? That is, having close to the hand grip and away from the muzzle.
