Bipod type best suited for the P-12
Thought I would start another topic, and help keep wingmans review less cluttered.
need some input on bipod preference.
Looking for a good line of bipods, so if any of you guys have any suggestions or leads on where to get some,
or which type is preferred, we would consider keeping them in stock them for you. :fishinghole:
Been looking at the “schmatlas” type, but we would need to remove any trades, and make new latch plates to
make them more stable. Not interested in having the confusion, or misconception that they are something they are not.
By the time we did all that, those may be too pricey.
Not going to get rich, selling bipods, just thought it would be nice for our customers to have the option to open your box and be fully equipped, without having to order all the extra add ons, and goodies elsewhere and having to wait even more for them.
Just would like to have a decent bipod available for our customers, at a decent price if needed.

They are a Chinese clone producer and their stuff has gotten to be pretty good. I have two bipods and two green lasers. The guy that runs it takes our feedback and improves stuff. 😉
wasnt that long ago daystate was in legal proccedings with them u live in usa dont ya how do u no how the p12 is marketed here in the uk

Ok I’ll give in that they may have cloned the basic image…. But that’s where it stops…
I think spa did a great job with the p12…. And the only thing that May be an issue is the barrels… But we will find out real soon…. I’ll have 2 barrels to try cause I got 2 p12’s one I will keep in .22 and the other id like to do in .25 or larger … But that will be down the road some. And if both barrels are crap then I’ll be going with an LW OR TJ or bsa.
But I’m not counting chickens here till they hatch
Dont get me wrong mate ive all ready got a order in for one from europe theve been about on uk forums for near 2 year advertising them but having used alot of of snow peak guns over the years not counting my chickens till they hatch i hope thet do sort out quality issues theyve had over the last 20-25 year but very much doubt it there pcp knowlkedge or care for safety is very limited the b40 wasnt abad gun for a springer direct copy of the air arms tx200 every time they release a gun legal procedings seem to arise and they get forced to stop tho theres fanatic forums with lads who use and mod there guns ukchienesegun forum ect which may give u some insghth in to what to expect but barrels wont be the only issue i assure you

What we need to remember is a lot of lads ake a living now not just in the uk making kits for these snow peak gun which entail completly rebuilding them by the time youve finished itwould of been cheaper to buy the original tx200 than tweak the b40 just hope there not stopped from making this they look to have taken sime advice and alterd the stock a little ths time tho

We have done some research.
It is rumored that the atlas model 8, may or may not have a licensed airsoft cousin, the model 7, and that is what we are looking into.
We sent an email to the atlas manufacturer, to get the straight scoop.
If we carry them, it will be on the up and up.
Whatever we decide, I will post info on them.

Snow peak are renowned for copying other brands of gun mate this is fact been doing it for years for a start a cricket is a multi shot action so how can it be called a clone of edgun as i say these guys have been doing itfor years

There are so many differences it’s not funny. I like the p12 better
evidently someone never read through wing mans review……. not even close to a clone.
Mate these brand of guns snow peak have been about for years they marketed it as a clone of a edgun obviously its not going to be exact clone of a edgun but its is made to look like one just like the other brands theyve copyied daystate ect having used a couple of the huntsman copys at are local range i no the quality of there barrels also and there very very hit and miss when there goid there good but when there bad there scrap so obviously not a exact clone 😉 will i buy one proberly will just to use as a base to build a decent pup

Ah They have a new web site brother Hemn.
I have two real Atlas bipods and two of those clones. The Atlas are better but not $220 better. The Atlas clones need a little tweaking to get their pivoting up to snuff. I used some shims and others used rubber washers. Other than that they are close enough.
At least ten of us bought the clones on this forum last summer.
