you missed Barnes, Rich in MI, Bontranger as well as the Corsair
both Rich and Bontranger are out of production
have to say Rich’s .308s based around the QB action were hard to beat and Bontranger had made a quite effective PCP shotgun
Barnes guns are crazy money and kind of out there for my tastes
Jacks current guns are pretty decent, not so much for his older rifles
Dennis builds a fine rifle…never much cared for the older style breech but the current ones are nice
XP seems to build a very fine rifle however it should be stated that they are all CNCd with a third party barrel…DAQ and Barnes build the whole gun including barrels without CNC so depending on how strictly you interpet “they have to make the gun” XP, even most Bontragers and JH guns may not qualify due to the TOW liner barrels
powerwise the XP looks hard to beat
if you are turned on by highly finished rifles with deep bluing the nod goes easily to DAQ
if you want a piece of art, Barnes is the only choice
