Blodnob is a valve god

If you have the chance to pick up a gun with one of Blod’s valves do it. Went out this weekend with a freshly purchased Chrono to get an idea of what my talon was shooting at. 18″ .22 barrel with Blod valve and heavy hammer. Well with the 21g kodiacs it was shooting at about 1000 fps. Well the little birdies and squirls I shoot don’t care if they die by 48 Foot lbs or 30. I turned the spring down to 4 and it lightened it up to 38 foot lbs with the 21 grain. So I turned it down to under 2 on the spring tensioner and switched to the 16 grain pellets and was still getting almost 1000 feet per second. Now here is the great thing, I am able to get around 45 consistant shots before I have to fill at approx 35 foot pounds. Again if you have the chance to buy a rifle with one of his valves do not hesitate. By the way did I mention that i fill to 1800 psi and refill at 1200 psi?
